Binh Dinh organizes gala night to meet billionaires for the first time

Mr. Tran Van Thanh, Director of Binh Dinh Province Department of Tourism, said that the department is coordinating with event organizers to promote tourism and introduce events and festivals this year.

According to Mr. Thanh, this year, Binh Dinh tourism will renew a series of tourism products with main product groups including: resort tourism - entertainment - sea sports, science tourism - MICE tourism, cultural heritage tourism, especially focusing on linking local international sporting events with tourism activities, creating a high-class international tourist destination. The most prominent of which is the Grand Prix of Binh Dinh 2024 international powerboat racing (from March 22 to March 31); held from March 22 to 31; investment promotion conference with Gala night to meet billionaires. In addition, during the 2 weeks of the race, there will be events such as the first Binh Dinh international culinary festival in 2024, international music festival and beach fashion.

This year, Binh Dinh also has a tourism festival with the theme "Quy Nhon - Sea Paradise - Shining Development" (April), a cycling race (May), a national youth athletics championship (quarter 2), a Quy Nhon - Binh Dinh kite festival (July), a festival of Ba Nuoc Man Pagoda (March 9-11), and an ocean tuna festival. According to Mr. Pham Van Thuy, Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, Binh Dinh needs to promote tourism activities with a bold spirit to become a tourist paradise. The province needs to make the most of AI technology and social networks and promote digital transformation to promote the image of the province nationwide and internationally for tourism to develop further.

This is the second time Quy Nhon City has received this award (the first time was on January 16, 2020 at the Southeast Asia Tourism Forum - ATF 2020-Brunei). This year, Vietnam has 3 cities receiving the award: Quy Nhon City (Binh Dinh Province), Hue City (Thua Thien-Hue Province) and Vung Tau City (Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province). ASEAN Clean Tourist City is an award to honor and develop the brands of cities with high quality tourism services; contributing to promoting and improving the effectiveness of promoting Vietnam tourism and the national destination brand "Vietnam Timeless Charm".
