(Fatherland) - The Thua Thien Hue Provincial History Museum has organized a ceremony to honor individuals who have made achievements in donating artifacts. The activity aims to recognize the contributions of those who do not directly work in the field of conservation and museums but always have the spirit and responsibility for heritage values.

On the afternoon of November 22, the Thua Thien Hue Provincial History Museum held a meeting to review the fine traditions of those working in the field of conservation and museums. The event was held as part of a series of activities to celebrate Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day on November 23.

According to the leaders of the Thua Thien Hue Provincial History Museum, this meeting is an opportunity to be proud and grateful, thereby arousing awareness, responsibility, and professional ethics for the team of people who have been and are contributing to the cause of conservation and museums. This is also an opportunity to recognize the contributions of organizations, individuals, and those who are not directly involved in the field of conservation and museums but always have the spirit and responsibility for the heritage values ​​of their ancestors.

Commendation and reward for individuals with achievements in donating artifacts to the Thua Thien Hue Provincial History Museum.

In 2024, the Thua Thien Hue Provincial History Museum recorded 6 individuals who donated artifacts; 9 establishments and individuals producing traditional Hue handicraft products actively coordinated and supported the Museum with products to serve the display and exhibition work to promote Hue cultural heritage to the public and visitors.

"In the coming time, the Thua Thien Hue Provincial History Museum will continue to promote the implementation of mobilization work, calling on individuals and organizations to donate artifacts to the Museum. Continue to coordinate with facilities and individuals to participate in supporting products for the Museum to serve the display and exhibition work to further promote Hue's cultural heritage to visitors near and far.

On this occasion, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Thua Thien Hue History Museum commended and rewarded individuals with achievements in donating artifacts and establishments and individuals who actively participated in coordinating activities to display and promote Hue cultural heritage at the National Tourism Year 2023 (in Ninh Binh province) and 2024 (in Dien Bien province).
