Secretary of the City Party Committee presents 80-year Party membership badge to veteran party members

Kinhtedothi - On the morning of November 4, Politburo member and Secretary of the City Party Committee Bui Thi Minh Hoai went to her home to present the 80-year Party membership badge to party members Doan Duy Thanh (Ba Dinh District Party Committee) and Tran Giang (Dong Da District Party Committee) on the occasion of the 107th anniversary of the Russian October Revolution (November 7, 1917 - November 17, 2024).

Attending the Party Badge awarding ceremony were Standing Committee Member of the City Party Committee, Head of the City Party Committee's Organization Committee Vu Duc Bao.

Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Bui Thi Minh Hoai presented the 80-year Party membership badge certificate to party member Doan Duy Thanh.

Party member Doan Duy Thanh (aka Doan Huu Tong) was born in 1929, hometown in Cong Hoa commune, Kim Thanh district, Hai Duong province; joined the Party on October 15, 1946, officially on February 15, 1947.

Party member Doan Duy Thanh has been involved in revolutionary activities and worked for many years in Hai Duong province and Hai Phong city. He is also the former Chairman of Hai Phong City People's Committee, former member of the Party Central Committee, former Secretary of Hai Phong City Party Committee, former Minister of Foreign Economic Relations, former Vice Chairman of the Council of Ministers, former Chairman of the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry... Currently, he is a Party member of the Oriental Philosophy Institute Party Cell under the Party Committee of the Business Bloc of Ba Dinh District.

Party member Tran Giang (aka Nguyen Huy Nam) was born in 1930, hometown Ninh Giang town, Ninh Giang district, Hai Duong province; joined the Party on October 10, 1946; officially on February 10, 1947. Party member Tran Giang is a liberation army soldier, joined the revolution from August 19, 1945. During his career, he held many Party and political positions in the army; participated in training and coaching for many years at schools and academies under the Ministry of National Defense.

Party member Tran Giang was the Acting Political Commissar - Deputy Political Commissar of the 3rd Army Corps; Major General, former Head of the Department of Party Work - Political Work, Senior Military Academy; former Chief of Office - Member of the Inspection Committee of the Vietnam Veterans Association.

At the Party Badge awarding ceremony solemnly held at the private homes of party members Doan Duy Thanh and Tran Giang, Secretary of the City Party Committee Bui Thi Minh Hoai respectfully pinned the 80-year Party membership badge, presented certificates and congratulated the party members.

Thanking the contributions of party members Doan Duy Thanh and Tran Giang, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Bui Thi Minh Hoai hopes that party members will continue to care, encourage, share experiences and contribute ideas to build the capital and the country to become more and more prosperous, civilized and modern. The Secretary of the Party Committee wishes party members to live happily, healthily and long to continue receiving higher Party badges.
