1. Men are economically dependent on their wives

While wives who are completely financially dependent on their husbands are less likely to cheat, according to a study by the American Sociological Association, husbands who are completely financially dependent on their wives are more likely to cheat.

Researchers believe that men who marry economically powerful women often feel inferior to their wives, feel their male role is threatened, so they have affairs as a way to regain balance.

2. Tall men

Looking at data from extramarital dating websites, researchers found that men of above-average height were twice as likely to cheat as shorter men.

3. Men entering their 9th birthday

Men in the later stages of their life cycle, for example at the ages of 29, 39, 49, 59, are at a much higher risk of cheating than men at other ages.

This is the result of a data analysis by American researchers of more than 8 million people.

Researchers say that men with the number 9 at the end of their age range are more likely to make crazy decisions, are more sensitive, and are more vulnerable to attack.

4. Social media users

A study published in Cyberpsychology, Behavior, and Social Networking revealed that the more social media a man uses, the higher his risk of cheating.

The theory is that these men engage in more virtual relationships than real ones, which makes them more likely to cheat.

5. Working in IT

According to data from an extramarital dating website, working in the IT or engineering field increases a man's chances of cheating by 10.6%.

6. People who have had affairs

It's no surprise that if a guy cheats once, he'll cheat again.

According to a study by the American Psychological Convention, people who have cheated are 3.5% more likely to cheat again than people who have never cheated.

7. Smart men

According to a survey conducted by General Social Surveys, men who cheat often have higher IQs than men who don't cheat.

One theory is that men with higher IQs tend to have more money and social status, so they are more attractive, so they are more likely to cheat than those with lower IQs.
