A man living in the US, with the account Destructsean on Reddit, shared his discovery while renovating his house and received a lot of attention from internet users.

He said the couple were renovating their old house when they found handwritten letters, about 100 years old, hidden under the floorboards. About 14 letters were discovered.

"My wife and I tried to read and piece together the timeline. The letters were written around the 1920s. It seemed like an affair, an affair because the previous owner of the house was married," he shared.

Each letter is a heartfelt declaration of love, and the name "Freddie" appears throughout. But there is no specific address or information about this person. This adds to the mystery of the love story in the letters.

Some of the letters mentioned that they should be destroyed after reading, but the previous owner of the house did not do so and hid them under the floor, News18 reported on March 4.

The discovery surprised the couple. Although the previous owner of the house was married, it seemed that he had a lot of feelings for the woman in the letter.
