Speaking at the end of the question and answer session for the second group of fields, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh said that for this group of fields, a total of 39 National Assembly deputies spoke, of which 36 deputies questioned and 3 deputies debated.
The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly stated that, in general, the questioning session was lively, democratic, frank, with a constructive spirit and high responsibility. The National Assembly deputies, with their practical experience, closely followed the questioning content, asked very specific, concise, and clear questions, focusing on issues in the implementation of the resolutions questioned and hoped for better solutions to remove difficulties and problems in the coming time; further improve the functions, tasks and more effective operations of ministries and branches.

The Ministers, Government members, and sector heads, with a high sense of responsibility and a firm grasp of the current situation of their sectors and management areas, answered clearly and to the point the delegates’ questions, and explained in detail the issues that the delegates were interested in and discussed. The Ministers and sector heads also seriously acknowledged the shortcomings, limitations, and emerging issues that need to be studied and resolved; and proposed solutions to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Government, ministries, and sectors in the coming time.

The Deputy Prime Minister respectfully thanked the National Assembly deputies for basically agreeing with, paying attention to and contributing many enthusiastic and responsible opinions to the Government's reports on the implementation of the Resolutions of the National Assembly Standing Committee on thematic supervision and questioning. Most opinions highly appreciated the drastic participation of the entire political system, the companionship of the National Assembly, the efforts of the Government, all levels, sectors and localities in directing and operating, achieving important and quite comprehensive results in the context of many difficulties and challenges in the world and domestic situation.

The Deputy Prime Minister stated that the achieved results have contributed to strengthening the people's trust in the Party and the State, enhancing the prestige and position of Vietnam in the international arena. The socio-economic situation in the first 7 months of 2024 continued to have a positive development trend, the macro economy was stable, inflation was controlled, major balances were ensured, economic growth in the first 6 months of the year reached 6.42%, exports continued to increase, trade surplus was large, state budget revenue increased sharply, and the state budget financial situation continued to improve.

In addition to the achieved results, many National Assembly members with a high sense of responsibility have frankly pointed out the limitations and shortcomings, contributing and suggesting to the Government, ministries, branches and localities important, feasible and practical orientations and solutions in various fields. On August 21 and the morning of August 22, 9 Government members participated in explaining and answering questions from National Assembly members.
The Deputy Prime Minister also provided additional information on a number of related issues in the fields of industry and trade; agriculture and rural development; culture, sports and tourism; justice; internal affairs; security, order and social safety; inspection; court; and prosecution.

The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that in the past time, the Government and the Prime Minister have focused on directing ministries, branches and localities to seriously implement the Resolutions of the National Assembly Standing Committee on thematic supervision and questioning, achieving many positive results, contributing to the effective implementation of the goals and tasks of socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security. Many tasks have been completed, creating positive changes in various fields, some regular and long-term tasks are being vigorously implemented. However, some tasks are still slow to be implemented, not meeting the requirements, and need to continue to be directed to be completed, as the National Assembly deputies stated in the questioning session. Incorporating the opinions of the National Assembly Standing Committee and the National Assembly deputies, the Government and the Prime Minister will continue to focus on directing ministries, branches and localities to make more efforts and drastic measures in implementing the Resolutions of the National Assembly Standing Committee on thematic supervision and questioning.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the question and answer session, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man said that after 1.5 days of serious and enthusiastic work, with a constructive spirit and high sense of responsibility, the entire content and program of the question and answer session at the 36th session of the National Assembly Standing Committee had been completed.
There were 75 National Assembly deputies speaking, of which 66 deputies questioned and 9 deputies debated; 11 deputies had registered but were not allowed to speak due to time running out. The National Assembly Chairman requested that the National Assembly deputies send their questions through the Secretary General of the National Assembly to the Government members and heads of sectors to respond in writing according to regulations.

The National Assembly deputies demonstrated high responsibility, carefully studied the reports, asked concise, clear, focused questions, and went straight to the point; the Government members and sector heads had a firm grasp of the current situation of the sectors and fields under their charge, basically answered fully, frankly, explained, clarified many issues and proposed solutions for effective implementation in the coming time. The National Assembly Standing Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the seriousness, openness, and high sense of responsibility of the Government members and sector heads in answering questions and absorbing the opinions of the National Assembly deputies.
The National Assembly Chairman said that through reports sent to National Assembly deputies and through the question-and-answer session, it was shown that, basically, the resolutions of the National Assembly Standing Committee have been seriously implemented by agencies with many synchronous solutions, creating positive changes and achieving specific results in most areas.
In addition, the National Assembly deputies also pointed out that the implementation of some resolutions and tasks is still slow, some contents and targets in the resolutions have not been completed, have not met requirements, have slow progress, or still have difficulties and problems, which need to be promptly overcome, removed, and resolved in the coming time.
The National Assembly Chairman requested the Government, the Supreme People's Court, the Supreme People's Procuracy, Ministers and Heads of sectors to fully absorb the opinions of National Assembly deputies, continue to resolutely, synchronously and comprehensively implement the resolutions of the National Assembly Standing Committee on thematic supervision and questioning, focusing on promptly, fully and effectively overcoming shortcomings and limitations in each field.
On behalf of the National Assembly Standing Committee, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man outlined a number of basic and key tasks directly related to the main responsibilities of ministries and branches to focus on implementing in the coming time.
The National Assembly Chairman said that General Secretary and President To Lam has repeatedly mentioned the important role and urgent requirements in promoting the building and improvement of institutions, promptly removing difficulties and obstacles to develop the economy - society, ensure national defense - security, foreign affairs and prevent corruption and negativity. Today's question and answer session also contributes positively to promoting the implementation of those very important tasks and requirements.
