Closing Ceremony of the Training Course for Central Committee Planning Cadres, Session XIV

On the afternoon of October 10, in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics coordinated with the Central Organizing Committee to organize the Closing Ceremony of the Training Course to update knowledge and skills for cadres planning members of the 14th Party Central Committee (2nd class).

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang, Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, Permanent Deputy Head of the Steering Committee of the course attended and delivered a speech. Also attending were leaders representing a number of Party committees, ministries, branches, and central agencies.

The class has 50 students who are key officials of central agencies and provinces and centrally-run cities. Over the past 6 weeks, the students of the class have been directly informed by General Secretary and President To Lam and many other senior leaders and managers of the Party and State, leading experts and scientists about all the core, important, strategic and urgent issues on Party and State building; on improving the Party's leadership and governing capacity; on building and perfecting the socialist rule-of-law State, on socio-economic development strategy, national defense strategy, national security strategy, foreign affairs strategy; summarizing practices, developing and perfecting theories on the Party's innovation policy in conjunction with the country's development goals until 2030, with a vision to 2045...

In addition, the class also listened to experts from China, Japan and Australia exchange experiences on: China's Party and State building work; Australia's energy transition and green transition experiences; Japan's development of digital transformation, artificial intelligence, green transformation, and climate change response industries...

The Training Class also went on field research in the two provinces of Ninh Binh and Ha Nam, where local leaders exchanged experiences in leadership and direction of Party building and political system, socio-economic development, tourism, services, investment attraction, national defense and security assurance, etc.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang awarded graduation certificates to students of the Training Course, updating knowledge and skills for planning cadres of the 14th Party Central Committee Executive Committee (2nd class).

Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of the Politburo, the Secretariat, and the Class Steering Committee, comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang congratulated the class for successfully completing the goals and tasks according to the set plan.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang expressed his belief that with the knowledge acquired when participating in the Training course, along with experiences in life and work positions, the students of the course will have more motivation and enthusiasm, continue to preserve and improve their political qualities, moral qualities, lifestyle, promote exemplary pioneering spirit, not afraid of difficulties and challenges, dare to think, dare to do, dare to innovate, be creative, actively study, research, apply new knowledge, good experiences, proactively remove difficulties and obstacles, handle newly arising issues effectively, and excellently complete the tasks entrusted by the Party, State and people. Thereby, contributing to the localities and units to successfully and comprehensively implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the resolutions of the Central Committee, the National Assembly, and the Government in 2024 and the term, while actively preparing for Party congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Party Congress.
