Surpassing other famous landmarks across the country, Dien Bien Phu - the place where the heroic victory took place 70 years ago - has become the most searched keyword in the tourism field, according to the Search Trend Report on the Coc Coc platform.
Coc Coc search platform has just released the Search Trends Report for the second quarter, reviewing the 6 topics and most notable search keywords on Coc Coc search.
Accordingly, the hottest news is related to EURO 2024, gold price, USD exchange rate. ChatGPT and Scratch are the top technology applications. The most popular fields are entertainment, technology, sports, travel, finance and real estate.
In the tourism sector, “April 30th holiday” is the most popular search keyword. Notably, the parade celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory is also of particular interest to users.
Thanks to that, Dien Bien Phu became the second most popular search keyword on the topic of tourism in general and the most popular in the topic of Domestic Tourism in particular, with a 443% growth in search volume.

The second quarter coincides with the start of the summer tourist season. As a result, domestic beach tourism has increased its appeal, most notably Phu Yen, Nha Trang and Phu Quoc with growth rates of 52%, 35% and 19% respectively in search volume compared to the previous quarter.
Besides, along with the international fireworks festival taking place in June-July, Danang, Danang fireworks schedule 2024 and Danang fireworks festival 2024 also became notable search keywords this quarter.
Other popular tourist destinations include Hai Phong, Ninh Binh, Da Lat, Hue and Hoi An ancient town.
Regarding international tourism, Spain, the US, Singapore, Malaysia and South Korea topped the most searched keywords in the second quarter on Coc Coc.

This summer, weather phenomena such as heat waves and thunderstorms tend to occur more suddenly and with more extreme developments. Therefore, “weather” has become the keyword with the highest search volume on the topic of tourism in the second quarter.
Additionally, booking apps and airlines continue to be among the most popular searches on this topic.
In recent years, traveling, sightseeing combined with outdoor photography has become a popular trend and habit in daily life. Attracting the most attention in the second quarter was flower landscapes, with cherry blossoms, hydrangeas and photography of purple flowers being the top trending search keywords.
The search trend report is published quarterly by the Coc Coc search platform, to review the most popular and searched keywords and content. In the first quarter, the most popular keywords were Dao, Pho and Piano; gold price; alcohol concentration penalty; cheap air tickets and job hopping.
