Arrested 3 'female monsters' who stole phones from spring tourists

On February 18, information from the Quang Yen Town Police (Quang Ninh) said that this unit is temporarily detaining a group of three female thieves to investigate the act of property theft.

3 female monsters and stolen goods from people attending the Tien Cong festival were arrested

Previously, at around 11:00 a.m. on February 17, Quang Yen Town Police discovered a 7-seat car with license plate 98A - 312.90 acting suspiciously, so they asked to stop the car for an administrative check.

At the time of the inspection, driver Nguyen Van Toan (57 years old, residing in Tien Giang street, Le Loi ward, Bac Giang city, Bac Giang province) was driving with 3 women, including: Le Thi Thanh (64 years old, residing in group 1, Kep town, Lang Giang district, Bac Giang province); Tran Thi Phuong (35 years old, residing in group 8, Quang Trung area, Mao Khe ward, Dong Trieu town, Quang Ninh province); Nguyen Thi Ba (63 years old, residing in Tien Giang 2 area, Le Loi ward, Bac Giang city, Bac Giang province).

Quickly verifying the background of the above group of people, Quang Yen City Police found that 3 subjects, including Thanh, Phuong, and Ba, all had criminal records for drug trafficking and property theft, so they invited them to the headquarters for questioning.

During the inspection, the police discovered a bag in the car containing 12 mobile phones of various types. Working with the police, the subjects confessed that the above phone numbers were stolen by the group from people at the Tien Cong festival that morning.

During the investigation, the authorities also confirmed that driver Nguyen Van Toan was hired to take him to Quang Yen town and did not know about the incident.

Quang Yen Town Police are continuing to investigate and expand the case and have identified 5 victims of the above incident.
