The UNESCO Center for Conservation of Vietnamese Cultural and Artistic Heritage has just been launched and officially put into operation.
The center operates to preserve and promote the value of Vietnam's cultural and artistic heritage in the past and present, while creating new values in the future.

The Center is a place to connect relationships and closely connect with artists, collectors, researchers, art critics, fine arts, museums, cultural units, and heritages at home and abroad;
This unit will also cooperate in many fields with organizations, units and individuals related to social projects at many levels related to fine arts, culture, heritage and conservation.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Director of the UNESCO Center for the Conservation of Vietnamese Cultural and Artistic Heritage Nguyen Kim Phien shared: “The Center is an inseparable part of the operating criteria of UNESCO worldwide. Therefore, we have projects in many specialized fields of operation to bring benefits to the community, society as well as our partners.”
Ms. Phien said that in the near future, the Center will have projects to support young talents in artistic creation; exchange and coordinate exhibitions of paintings, creative art sculptures and cultural heritage, and connect heritage tourism with domestic and foreign units.
The center will be a place to sponsor art, heritage and copyright, and coordinate with relevant units to organize auctions of cultural and artistic works.
This will also be a gathering place for leading experts with regular professional activities through seminars and exchanges with domestic and foreign organizations and individuals to orient education, propaganda, and promote awareness of preserving cultural and artistic heritage in the community.
