Organizing the restoration, preservation and development of traditional cultural identities of very small ethnic minorities to effectively implement Project 6 under the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development in Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas for the 2021-2025 period; effectively promoting investment resources of the State, society and community in the work of preserving and promoting good traditional cultural values of very small ethnic minorities; improving the level of cultural enjoyment in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.
The implementation content will take place in the third and fourth quarters of 2024, including: Organizing surveys, investigations, statistics, and information collection to preserve and promote traditional cultural forms of the Lu ethnic group in Lai Chau province such as: Brocade weaving; traditional costumes; folk performances; folk games...;
Organize training courses on preserving and promoting traditional cultural forms of the Lu ethnic group in association with tourism development in Tam Duong and Sin Ho districts, Lai Chau province. Each training course has about 150 - 155 people, including officials and civil servants working in cultural and ethnic affairs at district and commune levels; cooperatives doing business in the tourism sector; village and hamlet chiefs, prestigious people, artisans, Lu ethnic students...
Organize teaching, performance, and reproduction of traditional Lu ethnic cultural forms; propagate, promote, and introduce activities to preserve and promote traditional Lu ethnic culture...

The Lu ethnic group is one of the ethnic minorities with a very small population (population under 10,000 people). Currently, the Lu people have over 6,000 people, living in two districts of Tam Duong and Sin Ho of Lai Chau province. The Lu people have many unique traditional cultural features such as: architecture, costumes, cuisine and festivals... contributing to the diversity of cultural identities of ethnic groups in Lai Chau province and the whole country in general.
