The newspaper wrote: "This player turned towards the bench of the Thai U22 players, causing chaos, because of his disrespectful behavior towards the Thai U22 team." Ramadhan Sananta was the author of the first two goals for the Indonesian U22 team in the above final match.
The brawl in the final match of the men's football event of the 32nd SEA Games at the Olympic Stadium in Phnom Penh (Cambodia), between U22 Indonesia and U22 Thailand is causing outrage in the global football world, due to the lack of respect for each other, along with the violent behavior of the members of the two teams involved in this brawl.
Initially, Indonesia U22 coach Indra Sjafri accused Thailand U22 of being the first to provoke. However, a day ago, a Thai journalist released evidence showing the opposite, before yesterday the Thai media officially confirmed that the person who started the fight was striker Sananta of the young team of the archipelago country.
Specifically, according to the order identified by Thai media, Ramadhan Sananta ran into the technical area of U22 Thailand to celebrate as if to provoke when the score was 2-1 for U22 Indonesia, when the match was near the end of the two regular periods.
In the last minute of extra time of the two regular halves, U22 Thailand unexpectedly equalized 2-2, a member of the U22 Thailand team went to the Indonesian technical area to celebrate in response, also with a provocative attitude.

Then, in the first minute of the first extra time, Indonesia raised the score to 3-2, members of U22 Indonesia jumped into Thailand's technical area to celebrate, before both sides could no longer keep calm and started punching and kicking each other.
Immediately after returning home, the Thai U22 team was asked by the Thai Football Association (FAT) to explain the incident and consider the specific responsibility of each person in the brawl, before the FAT will take further disciplinary action against those who violated the law.
Meanwhile, the National Olympic Committee of Indonesia (NOC) asked the Indonesian Football Federation (PSSI) to report the incident to the World Football Federation (FIFA), and warned that the U22 Indonesian team is ready to take responsibility in case the team makes a mistake.
Currently, both the World Football Federation (FIFA) and the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) have spoken out about the incident, and it is likely that these organizations will have additional penalties for the two teams.
