Speaking at the handover conference, Deputy Head of the Central Economic Committee Thai Thanh Quy expressed his sincere and deep gratitude for the important companionship, sharing and support of comrades in the Standing Committee, Standing Committee, Executive Committee, agencies and units in the province, and specialized cadres in charge of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee who helped him complete his recent work tasks and wished to continue to receive sharing in the upcoming work process.
Handing over the work to receive the new assignment, former Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee Thai Thanh Quy shared the joys and concerns. Nghe An has recently built a collective of solidarity and high unity for the common goal, especially in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and Standing Committee. That solidarity and unity has been transformed into the collective's will and determination to lead in many issues, especially big issues, sensitive issues, strategic and long-term issues for the development process of the province such as: investing in key areas; saying no to hydropower development in the West; limiting and not extending the license to exploit minerals except for common construction materials; not granting licenses to build apartments in the core area of Vinh city, minimizing local planning adjustments; focusing on concentrated development in the East to pull the West, developing the East is the driving force; the West is sustainable, etc. Along with that, the Standing Committee, the Standing Committee, and the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee have focused on directing and completing a number of major tasks such as: Summarizing Resolution No. 26 of the Politburo; the Politburo issued a new Resolution No. 39 on the development of Nghe An province to 2030, with a vision to 2045; advising the National Assembly to issue Resolutions No. 36 and 137 to pilot a number of specific policies and mechanisms for the province's development; announcing the provincial planning; investing in and completing a number of key connecting infrastructures of the province. Despite facing many difficulties, especially during the Covid-19 outbreak and after the Covid-19 pandemic, Nghe An province has achieved many achievements in all aspects; in some areas, it is a bright spot in the country in attracting investment, education and training; health; finance, banking, social security care for the poor, etc.
