On the morning of March 18, social networks posted a clip spreading information about "Traffic police pushing a motorcyclist over". After verification, the Traffic Police Department determined that this was false information. During the process of controlling and handling violations, the working group of the Binh Trieu Traffic Police Team followed the correct patrol and control procedures according to regulations, and there was absolutely no impact on pushing the motorcyclist over as some social networking platforms had posted. With a single angle of the dash cam, it does not fully and honestly reflect the content of the incident.
Accordingly, at about 5:48 p.m. on March 17, a working group from the Binh Trieu Traffic Police Team (Traffic Police Department, Ho Chi Minh City Police) was on duty at the Binh Phuoc roundabout (Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City) when they discovered Mr. P.D.T. (born in 1984, from Binh Dinh) driving a motorbike with license plate 47C1-173.. with signs of staggering, so they signaled the vehicle to stop for inspection.

When he saw the traffic police team, Mr. T. lost control of the steering wheel and continued to drive the car erratically, crashing into the traffic police officer, causing him to fall. The traffic police team helped Mr. T. to the checkpoint.
Here, Mr. T.'s alcohol concentration was measured at 0.794 mg/liter of breath. The traffic police team drew up an administrative violation report for Mr. T. for the following violations: "Driving a vehicle on the road with a breath alcohol concentration exceeding 0.4 mg/liter of breath; no driver's license; no vehicle registration; no ID card presentation". After reading the report, Mr. T. accepted the violation. The traffic police team temporarily detained the vehicle that Mr. T. was driving.

The person who posted the clip has not verified the information above and posted it to attract views and likes, leading to many negative comments and incorrect sharing, causing bad public opinion and affecting the image of traffic police officers while on duty. Ho Chi Minh City Police is verifying the person who posted the above untrue content to clarify and handle it, to avoid causing confusion in public opinion.
