Bac Ninh rewards teachers and students with outstanding achievements

On the afternoon of March 25, the Department of Education and Training of Bac Ninh province held a summary of the Provincial Excellent Teacher Competition for the 2024-2025 school year for secondary education and continuing education. 100% of participating teachers were recognized as excellent teachers at the Bac Ninh provincial level for the 2024-2025 school year. Of which, 52 teachers with the most outstanding achievements were awarded by the Director of the Department of Education and Training of Bac Ninh.

The provincial competition for excellent teachers for the 2024-2025 school year for secondary education and continuing education took place from March 6-12.

This year's competition has 266 teachers; of which, 97 are secondary school teachers, competing in 4 subjects: Math, Information Technology, Technology, Local Education Content. High school and continuing education have 169 teachers, competing in 4 subjects: Literature, History, Economic and Legal Education, Physical Education.

Teachers compete in two parts: Practicing an educational activity according to the teaching plan at the time of the contest and presenting a measure to contribute to improving the teaching quality of individual teachers at the unit where they are working.

According to the Board of Judges, the lessons in this year's competition were all carefully prepared, creating a lively and exciting learning atmosphere for students to actively participate. The lessons have innovated teaching and assessment methods in the direction of developing students' abilities; actively applied information technology, helping the lessons become more intuitive, lively and attractive. Some young teachers showed pedagogical talent, solid knowledge and teaching skills.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen The Son, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Bac Ninh province, emphasized that the Provincial Excellent Teacher Competition is a professional activity of great significance, motivating teachers to strive and improve themselves to meet the requirements of innovation and improve the quality of education, especially in the process of implementing the 2018 General Education Program.

Previously, on March 24, at the Conference on deploying key tasks at the end of the school year, the Department of Education and Training of Bac Ninh province unexpectedly awarded 2 teachers and 4 students with outstanding achievements in national competitions in the 2024-2025 school year.

The teachers and students who were awarded were: Ms. Do Kim Ngan, Tran Quoc Toan Primary and Secondary School (Bac Ninh City) was the only teacher from the secondary school block to win the Excellent prize in the contest “Traffic safety for tomorrow’s smiles”. In this contest, the Bac Ninh Department of Education and Training continued to lead the country with 1 Excellent prize, 7 First prizes, 14 Second prizes, 25 Third prizes, and 3 Encouragement prizes.

The 4 students with excellent achievements include: 2 students from Bac Ninh High School for the Gifted who won the title of valedictorian and salutatorian in the second round of the thinking assessment exam of Hanoi University of Science and Technology: valedictorian Nguyen Duc Minh, 12 Math 1; salutatorian Le Quang Minh, 12 Math 2; 2 students from Han Thuyen High School with the project "AT-05 utility helmet" won first prize in the National Science and Technology Competition for high school students in Ho Chi Minh City: Nguyen Trinh Bac, class 12A1 and Nguyen Le Minh Khoi.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Linh, Han Thuyen High School, the teacher who guided two students to win first prize in the National Science and Technology Competition, was also awarded by the Department of Education and Training.
