(VTC News) – The Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, and the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance jointly organized the Exhibition of OCOP export products – VIETNAM OCOPEX.
On the morning of October 31, the Exhibition of OCOP export products - VIETNAM OCOPEX opened at Vinhomes Ocean Park 3 Urban Area, Hung Yen province with the participation of 230 enterprises, cooperatives, and OCOP entities from 38 localities across the country displaying more than 460 OCOP products from 3 stars to 5 stars at 250 booths.

Some 5-star OCOP products on display include: Tai Hoan vermicelli (Bac Kan); Bich Thao pure ground coffee (Son La); Hoai Trung premium tea (Phu Tho); Hao Dat tea (Thai Nguyen); Quy Hoa golden flower tea (Quang Ninh); Ha My cashew nuts (Binh Phuoc); green bean cake (Hai Duong); dried lotus seeds (Dong Thap)...

In her opening speech, Ms. Phan Thi Thang, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, said that this is the first time the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, and the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance have jointly organized an exhibition program for export OCOP products - VIETNAM OCOPEX.
The exhibition marks an important milestone in the journey to elevate the OCOP product brand and open up export orientations for Vietnamese OCOP products to penetrate international markets.

The “One Commune One Product” (OCOP) program plays a key role in affirming the value of rural products, helping products from all over the country not only get closer to domestic consumers but also reach out to international markets.
OCOP products not only have cultural and traditional characteristics but also meet high quality standards, suitable for the needs of domestic and international consumers.

Exhibition of OCOP export products - VIETNAM OCOPEX is an opportunity for enterprises, cooperatives, and Vietnamese OCOP entities to introduce, promote products, seek partners, and develop markets not only domestically but also internationally through opportunities to connect, exchange, and cooperate directly with trade promotion organizations, enterprises, and foreign importers.
Quy Hoa Golden Flower Tea (Quang Ninh) is certified as a 5-star OCOP product and is displayed at the exhibition.
At the same time, OCOP subjects also have the opportunity to exchange and learn about the strict requirements of the world market and study the possibility of expanding export scale.
On this occasion, Bac Kan province participated in 25 booths to promote, advertise, display and introduce 3-5 star OCOP products with typical products such as: Tai Hoan dong vermicelli; Nhat Thien dong vermicelli; yellow flower tea; Quynh Nien vermicelli and pho; black and red glutinous rice turmeric starch; Nano Curcumin Bac Ha...
As planned, the Exhibition of OCOP export products - VIETNAM OCOPEX takes place from October 31 to November 4.
