The special highlight of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Tourism Week 2024 “LET'S GO!!! Ba Ria-Vung Tau” is the program of 1,000 free rooms and free tour of Vung Tau city.
On the afternoon of December 6, in Vung Tau city, the Department of Tourism coordinated with the Tourism Association of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province to hold a press conference to announce the program of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Tourism Week 2024.
With the theme “LET’S GO!!! Ba Ria-Vung Tau,” the Tourism Week takes place from December 27-29 with a series of diverse and rich activities. The activities take place continuously, focusing on Vung Tau city and Xuyen Moc district, bringing the message of a new experience for tourists every day.
The series of events focused on Quang Trung Street - Front Beach Park (Vung Tau City) includes performances and check-in with hot air balloons; introduction of local cuisine and OCOP products; tourism music festival; kite surfing; paragliding experience; water flying performance - fly board; "Tuong Ky Mountain Run Challenge 2024" race along the Big Mountain route.
In addition, the Ho Tram-Xuyen Moc area organized the “Green Tourism” Pickleball Tournament along with a golf tournament, with the participation of 50 golfers who are Korean businessmen and 50 Vietnamese golfers to introduce and promote golf tourism products to tourists.
In particular, the opening art program of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Tourism Week 2024 took place on the evening of December 27 in a grand musical space, gathering many "hot" music idols among young people to perform.
The special highlight of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Tourism Week 2024 is the program of 1,000 free rooms and free tours of Vung Tau city.
The program has received positive responses from the tourism business community. To date, nearly 700 free rooms have been registered by businesses with the Department of Tourism.
Among them, there are hotels that register up to 50 free rooms/day, and start the free room program from December 8.
Some destinations and restaurants have also registered their own programs to respond to Tourism Week such as: The Museum of Ancient Weapons opens its doors to visitors for free from December 27-29; Ganh Hao Restaurant organizes an Oyster Festival.
In addition, many businesses have registered to participate in incentive programs to reduce service prices by 10-50%, give away buffet tickets, enjoy live music every night... for tourists.
Ms. Tran Thi Thu Hien, Acting Director of the Department of Tourism, said that through this series of events, the tourism industry of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province hopes to introduce to domestic and foreign tourists high-quality tourism products, innovation and development of the province.
This is a milestone to launch tourism businesses and tourism service establishments in the whole province to implement tourism stimulus programs to welcome the New Year and Lunar New Year 2025./.
