iPhone users can breathe a sigh of relief as Apple has finally fixed the annoying video viewing interface bug in the Photos app.
Apple has updated the Photos app with a completely new look in iOS 18, replacing the old version that has been around for years. However, the fact that videos are surrounded by white borders and require additional taps to view full screen has received a lot of negative feedback from users.

Immediately, “Apple” released the iOS 18.2 beta 3 update to remove this white border, bringing the video viewing experience back to the same as previous iOS versions. Users can now watch videos in full screen mode immediately without any additional operations.
In addition, when touching the screen, the interface buttons will be hidden and displayed as before iOS 18 version. This helps users feel closer in the process of manipulating and editing photos.
This is considered a small "victory" for iPhone users, showing that Apple has listened and absorbed feedback to improve the user experience.
Apple has previously made several tweaks to the Photos app based on feedback from users and developers, but some of the major interface changes have been controversial.
The iOS 18.2 update is expected to be officially released by Apple next December, bringing many improvements and important fixes for iPhone users.
