Apple releases iOS 18.1 beta 4

Two weeks after Apple released the third beta of iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1, and macOS Sequoia 15.1, the company has officially released the fourth beta.

The previous iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1, and macOS Sequoia 15.1 updates required Apple Intelligence-enabled devices, but with the release of iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS Sequoia 15, they are available to all devices. However, Apple Intelligence features still require an iPhone 15 Pro or iPhone 16 on iOS and a Mac or iPad with an M-series silicon chip.

iOS 18.1 brings the first features of Apple Intelligence such as: Writing Tools, Reduce Interruptions, notification summary... and is expected to be officially released in October.

Writing Tools are available everywhere to help users select and edit text, and can be used to check spelling, correct grammar errors, rewrite with a new voice, and summarize text.

Siri has a new design with soft lighting around the screen and has a Type to Siri feature so users don't have to talk to this voice virtual assistant.

In addition, in this version Apple also provides the Clean Up feature - which helps remove distracting objects from the photo frame while keeping the subject intact.

The Clean Up feature can be used for all images in the library, including old images and images taken by other devices, including cameras.
