Specifically, at the General Meeting of Shareholders, PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (code DPM) dismissed and elected a number of new members of the Board of Directors. Accordingly, the General Meeting of Shareholders voted to approve the dismissal of Mr. Hoang Trong Dung and Mr. Duong Tri Hoi from the Board of Directors.
At the same time, new members of the Board of Directors were also elected, including: Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hoa, Chairman of the Board of Directors; Mr. Phan Cong Thanh assumed the role of member of the Board of Directors and General Director. Other members of the Board of Directors include Mr. Trinh Van Khiem, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Anh and Mr. Ho Quyet Thang (independent member).
New Chairman of the Board of Directors Nguyen Xuan Hoa was previously Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of PVI Corporation - PVI Holdings (PVI). He has just been transferred by the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) to PVFCCo (commonly known as Phu My Fertilizer) to hold the position of Party Secretary and manage PVN's capital contribution at Phu My Fertilizer.
Mr. Hoa was born in 1972, his hometown is Hai Duong, he has worked in the oil and gas industry since 1994, starting his work at PV Gas. He has held many important positions in PVN's member companies such as Deputy General Director and Member of the Board of Directors of PV Gas, General Director of PV Power, Deputy General Director of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group.
At PVI alone, Mr. Hoa held the two most important positions: Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director.
Meanwhile, PVFCCo with the Phu My Fertilizer brand is one of the largest enterprises in the fertilizer industry in Vietnam.
In 2024, the company plans to produce 850 thousand tons of urea, 143 thousand tons of NPK; consolidated revenue of VND 12,755 billion, pre-tax profit of VND 660 billion, dividend payment at 15%.
Because the expected selling price continues to decrease, the planned revenue is lower than last year's performance, but PVFCCo still aims to maintain profits at a nearly equivalent level.
At the end of the trading session on March 29, DPM shares reached 35,800 VND/share.
