Mr. Le Phuoc Tanh, a farmer in Cao Lanh district, shared his feelings when participating in the program: "Using substandard fertilizers has caused me to lose both money and productivity. Thanks to participating in the program, I have learned how to recognize genuine products and ensure quality."
To prepare the program, the "agronomists" also carefully compiled documents suitable for the living habits and growth cycles of local crops and livestock.
This is a valuable source of documents, helping farmers in the process of planting, raising animals... helping farmers apply scientific and technical advances in production, change labor methods, reduce input costs, and limit manual labor.
Evaluating the program, Mr. Le Van Chan - Deputy Head of the Department of Cultivation and Plant Protection of Dong Thap province - said: "The Doctor of Agronomy program is very practical, especially for people in remote areas - where access to scientific knowledge is limited. Expanding this program will help farmers improve their lives and contribute to local economic development".
