9 candidates suspended from the first capacity assessment exam in 2024

On the evening of March 24, the Hanoi National University Examination Center announced that the total number of candidates registered for the 401st HSA exam according to the list was 11,157, the number of candidates present for the exam was 11,014, reaching 98.7%.

The testing center assessed that the percentage of candidates taking the exam in the first round was much higher than the same period last year. Some testing sites had 100% of candidates present to take the exam.

During the two days of the exam, 9 candidates were suspended from the exam due to violating the regulations of the Hanoi National University's competency assessment exam.

The HSA 401 exam took place at 8 locations, including the Examination Center of Hanoi National University, University of Technology, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment, Banking Academy, Thang Long University, Thai Binh University and Nam Dinh University of Technical Education.

This is also the first year that the Testing Center has deployed candidate identification technology at all testing locations. Candidates must present their ID cards and have their images identified when completing the exam procedures.

Mr. Nguyen Tien Thao - Director of the Examination Center of Hanoi National University - said that candidates taking the exam in 2024 tried very hard to do the exam, with a more determined attitude than in previous years. Because the exam took place at the end of March, candidates were more confident when taking the exam, reviewed and prepared carefully.

"The Hanoi National University Examination Center affirms that it does not publish any publications related to exam preparation. All advertising materials on the internet are unofficial and do not serve the Hanoi National University's competency assessment exam," Mr. Thao reminded candidates.

HSA score reports will be sent to candidates via post 1 week after the exam. Candidates should note the phone number to receive the letter and look up the postal code by logging into their HSA exam account at http://khaothi.vnu.edu.vn/.

Hanoi National University Examination Center will announce the score distribution of the March and April exams in early May.

The next round of exams, 402, will take place on April 6 and 7 in Hanoi, Thai Nguyen, Hung Yen, Thai Binh, Thanh Hoa, and Ha Tinh; the number of candidates registered for the exam is 18,213.

The 2024 HSA exam will have 6 sessions from March to June, with an expected attendance of about 103,000 candidates, the highest number ever.

In 2024, about 90 training institutions used the HSA exam results of Hanoi National University in the admission method, including 17 military schools using the scores of this exam for the first time.
