Overcoming difficulties to conquer dreams
At the exam site of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education (Thu Duc City), a team of volunteers promptly assisted two candidates who had difficulty moving into the exam room on the morning of March 30.
The first case is Nguyen Hoang Nam, a student at Thu Duc High School. Despite his congenital disability, Nam is very studious, his dream is to become an information technology student at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education. Ms. Kieu, Nam's mother, was worried when her son took a big exam for the first time, and the distance from the gate to the exam room was quite far. However, when she saw her son being enthusiastically supported by volunteers, Ms. Kieu breathed a sigh of relief.
Another female candidate had a sore leg and needed crutches. Her father took her by motorbike to the school lobby. The female student was worried because the exam was near but the transportation was very difficult. Immediately, a volunteer student was present to reassure the candidate and her parents, and asked the security guard to help with the elevator and escort the candidate to the exam room safely.
