Near Hanoi there are beautiful and quiet camping sites for tourists to avoid the early summer heat as well as the noise of the city during the holidays.

Thien Son Suoi Nga Thien Son Suoi Nga eco-tourism area is located in Van Hoa commune, Ba Vi district. Only about 60km from the center of Hanoi, this location is quite convenient for tourists to visit Ba Vi National Park (3km away) and Khoang Xanh Suoi Tien (5km away). Because it is located in the valley of Ba Vi mountain range, surrounded by forests and waterfalls, streams, and lakes, the climate here is cool all year round, especially suitable for "escaping" the early summer sun. Tourists can bring tents and food to camp, or rent a stilt house or resort villa at affordable prices. If you want to eat local dishes such as hill chicken, wild boar, bamboo rice... diners need to book in advance with the restaurant. Entrance ticket to Thien Son Suoi Nga costs 150,000 VND/person.

Quan Son Lake Quan Son Lake is located in My Duc district, about 50km from the center of Hanoi. This is a place with beautiful scenery, not too crowded and bustling, suitable for relaxing on weekends or holidays. The ticket price to enter the lake is only about 15,000 VND/person. If you want to find a camping area, you can take a boat to the island in the middle of the lake or sit directly on the edge of the lake, which is also very cool. However, because it is still quite wild, Quan Son Lake does not have any rental services or food sales, so visitors should prepare in advance if they intend to camp in large groups. In addition, because there is no large road for cars, visitors will have to carry their belongings quite a distance. Besides camping, there is also a sightseeing boat trip here for 180,000 VND/boat/way for 4 people.

Ban Ven Xanh is located about 80km from Hanoi in Luong Xuan commune, Yen The district, Bac Giang province. This is an ideal place for large groups of friends or families to camp and relax. In addition to Truc Phan forest and cool green tea hills, visitors can experience camping right by the stream, feeding goats and sheep, visiting horse stables... Entrance tickets here cost 60,000 VND/person.

Sam Tang Lake Sam Tang Lake is located in Noong Luong Commune, Mai Chau District, Hoa Binh Province. In addition to being a high-altitude lake with year-round blue water, Sam Tang also impresses with its inverted hills that form a steppe stretching to the horizon. Sam Tang Lake is completely free of charge, and visitors can come here to take pictures or camp. However, because tourism in Noong Luong is not yet developed, there are almost no other recreational activities. Usually, tourists will combine a trip to Lac Village - Mai Chau or Tan Lac District for sightseeing.
