30 police officers in Soc Trang asked for early retirement to facilitate the organization and streamlining of the apparatus in the coming time.
On February 21, Soc Trang Provincial Police held a ceremony to announce the decision of the Provincial Police Director on personnel work. Colonel Tran Van Duong, Director of Soc Trang Provincial Police presided over the ceremony. Attending the ceremony was Chairman of Soc Trang Provincial People's Committee Tran Van Lau.
At the announcement ceremony, the leaders of the Personnel Department announced the decision for 30 officers who retired and received pension benefits and retired early according to their wishes (including 27 department-level leaders and equivalent and 3 team-level commanders).
Implementing the policy of the Politburo, the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Provincial Public Security Director, the above officers voluntarily submitted applications for early retirement and pension benefits to facilitate the arrangement and streamlining of the provincial public security apparatus in the coming time.
Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Tran Van Duong, Director of Soc Trang Provincial Police congratulated 30 officers who had successfully completed their assigned tasks, retired from work, and enjoyed retirement benefits according to regulations; at the same time, he acknowledged the important work results and contributions of the officers, contributing to the overall achievements of the provincial police over the past time.
The Director of Soc Trang Provincial Police affirmed that voluntarily retiring from work before the age limit not only demonstrates courage, sense of responsibility, exemplary behavior, and pioneering in implementing the Party's policies, but also shows great sacrifice and dedication of cadres in the revolution of streamlining the apparatus of the Party, State, and industry.
