“Bogota: City of the Lost” tells the story of Guk Hee (played by Song Joong Ki), who travels to Bogota, Colombia - a land of new hope - after the IMF crisis.

Filming began in 2019 and took five years to release. Production faced many setbacks, including a halt to filming in Colombia due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
Despite overcoming many challenges, the film still struggles to attract viewers and causes disappointment.
“Hopeless” (directed by Kim Chang Hoon) also stars Song Joong Ki, released in October 2023, but its box office revenue was also not good, attracting only 260,000 viewers.
