181 HCMC officials successfully completed the national defense and security course

On May 24, the Ho Chi Minh City National Defense and Security Education Council held a closing ceremony for a national defense and security knowledge training course for 181 cadres of category 3, course 123, 2023.

The students are heads and deputy heads of departments, branches and People's Committees at provincial and district levels and equivalent. Colonel Nguyen Tuan Bao, Deputy Political Commissar of Ho Chi Minh City Command attended and directed the closing ceremony.

After 3 weeks of study, the students have studied and researched knowledge about national defense and security. Main contents: the Party's viewpoints, policies and laws of the State on national defense and security; Socio-economic development work associated with strengthening and consolidating national defense and security and foreign affairs activities in the new situation; Strategy for protecting the Fatherland in cyberspace; Training in using and shooting K54 pistols...

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Tuan Bao suggested that students completing the training course should combine theory with practice and requirements at the grassroots level. Thereby, they will have new thinking about national defense and security, contributing to building an increasingly solid national defense, a national defense posture associated with a people's security posture in the area.

At the closing ceremony, the Ho Chi Minh City National Defense and Security Education Council awarded certificates to 181 officers who successfully completed the 2023 course.
