The scientific and educational organization “Meeting Vietnam” (Rencontres Du Vietnam) awarded Vallet scholarships to 155 poor but excellent students from 5 Central Highlands provinces and 2 provinces of Khanh Hoa and Ninh Thuan on August 29 in Da Lat city, Lam Dong province.

At the ceremony, each student received a scholarship of 14 million VND and each student received a scholarship of 28 million VND.

Students in the Central Highlands and South Central regions received Vallet scholarships on the morning of August 29.

“Gap Ren Hoc Vietnam” is a scientific-educational organization founded by physics professor Tran Thanh Van. Since 2001, under the sponsorship of professor Odon Vallet, this organization has awarded over 50,000 Vallet scholarships to poor and disadvantaged students nationwide, with a total value of over 400 billion VND. In 2023 alone, “Gap Ren Hoc Vietnam” will award scholarships to 2,100 students, with a total value of over 40 billion VND.

As one of the largest and longest-running scholarships in our country, the Vallet scholarship aims to help and encourage poor students to overcome difficulties and achieve good or excellent results in their studies. In addition, the Vallet scholarship also focuses on promoting the traditional identity of the Vietnamese people through supporting a number of scholarships for "Traditional National Music" clubs in Hue City and Ho Chi Minh City.
