15 teams participated in the cooking contest "Family meal"

Participating in the 2024 "Family Meal - Full of Love" Cooking Contest are 15 teams, each team consists of 5 members, from agencies and units of departments, branches, and unions in the province. Within 120 minutes, each team will cook a typical meal of traditional Vietnamese cuisine with the theme "Family Meal - Full of Love" for 8 people. The dishes must demonstrate sophistication in culinary knowledge, skillfulness in preparation, uniqueness and creativity in presentation, and at the same time express the meaning of the contest theme. Along with that, the competing teams present the dishes for 3 - 5 minutes.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the contest, Mr. Doan Van Chi, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Head of the Organizing Committee emphasized: “This year's contest is a practical activity to celebrate the anniversary of Vietnamese Family Day. This is a useful, interesting and meaningful playground. Not only for women but also for male civil servants and public employees, contributing to promoting gender movements, creating a joyful atmosphere, meeting and exchanging experiences in life and family happiness...”.

After the competition ended, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to the Provincial Federation of Labor; 2 second prizes to the Provincial Radio and Television Station team, and the Dien Bien Phu Historical Victory Museum team. In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded 3 third prizes and 9 consolation prizes to the teams participating in the competition.

In 120 minutes, the teams completed a family meal that was enough for 8 people.
