At the meeting, Mr. Trinh Hoang Tuan Anh - Deputy Director of the Department of Finance introduced an overview of the socio-economic development situation of the province .

Binh Duong currently has 4,430 investment projects from 65 countries and territories with a total registered capital of 42.5 billion USD. Of which, China is the leader with 1,806 projects with a total investment capital of over 11.2 billion USD.

In the coming time, Binh Duong will prioritize attracting investment in high-tech industries, semiconductor industry, green energy, green economy, circular economy...

Mr. Luong Duc - Director of the Foreign Trade Department, Department of Commerce of Qinghai Province (China) highly appreciated the economic achievements as well as the development strategy of Binh Duong Province. At the same time, he briefly introduced the geographical location and economic development situation of Qinghai Province (China).

Accordingly, Qinghai province has the largest freshwater lake in China, is the source of major rivers, and plays an important role in China's ecosystem.

Currently, China is paying attention to the province and increasing investment in building infrastructure to protect local ecological resources; developing green energy sources such as wind power, solar power; developing tourism... In addition, the province also has a developed chemical industry.

Mr. Luong Duc commented that Thanh Hai and Binh Duong provinces have many similarities in economic development strategies. Therefore, Thanh Hai province hopes to have many opportunities to promote trade and investment cooperation with Binh Duong in the province's strong industries.
