11 police schools recruit additional candidates

The Training Department of the Ministry of Public Security has announced additional recruitment for 11 police schools in 3 recruitment methods.

Accordingly, the additional admission quota is 30. These quotas are determined for each school, each region, each subject, and each male/female gender.

3 admission methods include: direct admission, combining international language certificates with academic records, combining high school graduation exam scores and the Ministry of Public Security's assessment test.

Student of People's Police University

Candidates participating in the supplementary recruitment must ensure the conditions for having participated in the 2024 People's Public Security recruitment exam according to each case (high school students, discharged soldiers, students of Grade 11 - People's Public Security Cultural School, soldiers on active duty) but did not pass the entrance exam to the People's Public Security University or College, did not pass the entrance exam or have not enrolled in schools outside the public security sector.

In addition, candidates participating in the additional admission exam must ensure that according to the combination, assessment test code, subject, male/female gender, and admission area, they are allowed to apply to the People's Police Academies and Schools in 2024 (as prescribed in Instruction No. 5 dated March 26 of the Ministry of Public Security), and at the same time ensure the input quality threshold according to the regulations of the Ministry of Public Security.

Each candidate can register up to 3 wishes in order of priority. Schools also give priority to admission in majors and schools for first-time candidates.

Additional admission criteria of police schools

In case no candidate is admitted according to the above 3 methods, schools will consider admission based on the assessment test scores of the Ministry of Public Security, from high to low until the quota is full. This score is on a scale of 100, plus priority according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, bonus points according to the regulations of the Ministry of Public Security.

In case the number of candidates has the same admission score, the admission will be considered in the following order: First, consider candidates with the Ministry of Public Security's assessment test scores from high to low until the quota is met; Second, consider candidates with the Ministry of Public Security's multiple choice test scores from high to low until the quota is met.

Candidates submit their application documents before 5:00 p.m. on October 23 at the police station of the unit or locality that received the first application documents. The police station or locality will send the application documents and registration request data to the academies and schools. On November 3, the schools will announce the results of this additional admission exam.

It is known that in 2024, the total enrollment target for public security academies and schools is 2,150. There are about 18,000 candidates participating in the assessment exam of the Ministry of Public Security in 2024, an increase of 20% compared to 2023. This is the third year that the Ministry of Public Security has organized this exam as a basis for admission.
