Ho Chi Minh City finalizes enrollment targets for public grade 10 in 2025

Accordingly, 115 public high schools in Ho Chi Minh City will enroll about 70,000 students in grade 10. Of which, Mac Dinh Chi High School has the highest enrollment target (1,060 targets).

Details of public grade 10 enrollment targets in Ho Chi Minh City are as follows:

The entrance exam for grade 10 public schools in Ho Chi Minh City will take place on June 6-7. Candidates will take the Math and Literature tests in 120 minutes and the Foreign Language (mainly English) in 90 minutes.

Candidates registering for the entrance exam to the city's specialized high schools must take the 4th subject (specialized subject) with a duration of 150 minutes/subject. Each specialized subject has its own exam according to the secondary school curriculum, the exam content ensures the selection of students with talent in that specialized subject.

Each candidate can register for a maximum of 8 wishes. The admission score for general classes is the total score of three subjects plus incentive and priority points (if any). For specialized classes, the formula is the total score of the three subjects above with coefficient 1, plus the score of the specialized subject exam with coefficient 2.

For the Continuing Education Center, Thanh An Secondary and High School of Can Gio district, candidates are considered for admission based on their academic records.
