Responding to the program launched by Saigon Giai Phong newspaper, Nhat Nguyen Food Company Limited sponsored many practical gifts to contribute to improving the quality of education for the school. The sponsorship package includes 6 computers, 1 air conditioner, 450 additional books for the children's bookshelf, repair of 3 library bookshelves and 20 scholarships for students in especially difficult circumstances (each scholarship is worth 1 million VND with a backpack). The total sponsorship value is 100 million VND.

Journalist Tran Minh Truong, Editorial Secretary, Head of Reader Affairs Department - Social Program (wearing glasses) and representatives of the Department of Education and Training of Cai Nuoc district awarded scholarships to students.

Mr. Tran Hoang Nhan, representative of the sponsor - Nhat Nguyen Food Company Limited, awarded scholarships to students.

In addition, Sai Gon Giai Phong newspaper also donated 50 million VND to establish the "Lighting up the faith - Overcoming difficulties to go to school" scholarship fund to provide timely support for students who overcome difficulties to study well in the coming time. This fund will be actively used by the school's Board of Directors and the implementation effectiveness will be reported to the organizing unit.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Bui Thi Hong Suong, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper, said: “The program “Lighting up the faith - Overcoming difficulties to go to school” has been implemented since 2023, and has so far mobilized more than 21 billion VND to support schools in remote areas with items such as building classrooms, functional rooms, awarding scholarships, equipping computers, computer rooms, donating books, free medical examination and treatment for students and many other auxiliary works”.

The program brought much joy and hope to students, especially those in difficult circumstances at Hoa My 2 Primary School.

Also on this occasion, Hoa My 2 Primary School was supported to repair the library, adding hundreds of new books suitable for primary school students, creating conditions for them to access knowledge more effectively. Nguyen Phung Hon, a student of class 5B, said: "I really like new books, I will read a lot and introduce them to my friends to read."
