Audience was asked to leave after bringing live chicken into the theater while watching 'A Minecraft Movie'

At movie theaters in the US today, many audiences, from children to adults, were agitated, screaming, throwing popcorn, and littering in the theater while watching A Minecraft Movie (director: Jared Hess). The group carrying the live chickens were then escorted out of the theater by theater security. They captioned the video, "Safe to say we were escorted out."

Another video posted on Discussing Film ’s X account, which has received over 3.5 million views, shows a group of young viewers being escorted out of the theater after a series of screaming and cheering actions when the Jockey character appeared. After security forces appeared to lead the group out, many other viewers continued to sing and shout loudly: “Get out! Get out!”.

The US media called these acts "extreme", raising concerns about the culture of watching movies in theaters. One newspaper pointed out that A Minecraft Movie is one of the rare films after the pandemic that audiences were extremely excited to watch, leading to the above situation.
