According to the Law on Health Insurance, all people have the right to participate in health insurance and have the same scope of health insurance benefits; health insurance participants are paid by the health insurance fund for unlimited medical examination and treatment costs according to the scope and level of benefits, which can be up to billions of VND/year.

Currently, the health insurance fund covers the treatment costs for all serious illnesses such as cardiovascular diseases, cancer, and rare diseases. These are groups of diseases that require long-term or lifelong treatment and have high treatment costs.

2. The patient with the second highest payment from the Health Insurance Fund is 4.372 billion VND : card code TE1171721XXXXXX, born in 2018, address: Tan Thinh Ward, Hoa Binh City, Hoa Binh Province, main diagnosis is "Hereditary Factor VIII deficiency".

3. The patient with the third highest payment from the Health Insurance Fund is more than 3,687 billion VND : card code TE1242422XXXXXX, born in 2018, address: Tien Phong Commune, Yen Dung District, Bac Giang Province, main diagnosis is "Glycogen storage disease".

4. The patient with the 4th highest health insurance payment is more than 3,684 billion VND : card code TE1262621XXXXXX, born in 2018, address: Tien Chau Ward, Phuc Yen City, Vinh Phuc Province, main diagnosis is "Myelodysplastic Syndrome, Acute Leukemia of Unspecified Cell Type".
