Heresy using the name of the Church of God to operate again in the capital
Before becoming a Saint of the Church of God, VTC News reporters had to attend 10 Bible studies via Zoom software with members of this organization, including those holding positions in the Church.
In the early days, I felt very important and favored, truly “treated like an egg, held like a flower”. There were 3 women who took turns teaching me the Bible. They were Thuong, Hien and Thai.
I am a student, but I am very cool. I arrange the study days, the study time is one and a half or two hours is up to me. According to my request, they divide up to meet.
But they are not ordinary people, they are all people with high positions in the Church and have special abilities to communicate, grasp the psychology of students and absorb every sentence and word in the Bible. Only such people are qualified enough to teach new believers.
Even Ms. Thom only sat and explained for about an hour about not eating offerings, before leading me to the Baptism ceremony to write my name in the book of eternal life in Heaven.
She only regularly contacts me to grasp my feelings. Or Phuong Thanh is just like a scout to find people to attract into the Church.
Sisters Thuong, Hien and Thai are the real "experts". According to my research, they have positions in the Church, but during their teaching and conversations, they never reveal their identities. The "Saints" who know them can only guess.
Zoom was just connected, a woman with a pretty face greeted me very warmly. She introduced herself as Thuong. A moment later, 4-5 other people joined Zoom, they just greeted each other and then turned off their microphones, some even quietly joined, but "as quiet as a mouse".
During the entire lecture, none of them said a word, just words of praise, “Wonderful,” whenever I answered a question correctly or praised some supernatural power of God.
“Every listening session, there are sisters who sit and listen together because there is always the power of the devil, Satan, fighting with God's children, seducing and enticing them so that they do not want us to know His truth.
To talk to God, to ask Him to keep this soul, to let this soul hear all of His words is only through the ritual of prayer. Prayer is a dialogue between God and us.
Therefore, there are always sisters with her to pray for her soul to hear God's words until the last moment and win, " "expert" Thuong explained to me about the roles of those who appeared together in the Zoom of the lecture.
In the teachings of all the classes, these teachers always pointed out that the devil and Satan are the ones on this Earth who erase the commandments of God's law, that is, cut off all the ways for our souls to receive resurrection.
Halfway through the class, Ms. Hien took over from Ms. Thuong and continued to teach me. Right in the first lesson, this woman drew me a terrifying picture of the Apocalypse.
They say we are living in the last days with me. What is happening today is not a coincidence but has been arranged according to a script. God holds the fate of all mankind in his hands. And, the Bible is a book of laws, but not human laws, but heavenly laws.
“Natural disasters and epidemics have always existed, but in the last days they are more frequent, showing that this is a sign. God has warned of many disasters, so the last day, the day of destruction, is not far away and it will happen in our lifetime.”
The "female masters" instilled fear in my mind through overwhelming "punches" with a series of evidences about the earthquake in Türkiye that killed tens of thousands of people, the devastating COVID-19 pandemic that just passed, then solar storms, volcanic eruptions... From there, they advised me to spend time listening to the Bible to have absolute luck and peace.
They hit, then immediately smooth. They hit and smooth at the same time. After spreading fear about the Apocalypse, letting the listeners feel panic, confusion, and want to find a way to escape the disaster, they show the way out. That is God's grace.
“Today, I received God’s deep grace and was forewarned. Today, God not only forewarns of disasters but also of methods. God knew the end from the beginning, that is, from the time the Bible was written,” said Hien.
The question they asked themselves: "The Earth is destroyed, where will we live?", and also opened the door to sow curiosity in me, not to give up halfway, continue listening to the next lectures as if reading a long story, like if you want to know what happens, just watch the next episode.
During the whole course, I was taken care of by Ms. Thom very enthusiastically, and she understood my psychological development very closely. She always asked me about the date and time of the next class and asked me if there was anything I did not understand so that she could answer directly.
Gradually, in the following lessons, they told me that to avoid the final judgment day, we must turn to Zion, the place where God's solemn feasts are held, where God's commandments and laws are kept, and that we must enter there to receive God's protection and salvation for our souls. They even passed around lectures about "Zion culture".
Not only that, they always affirm that what is written in the Bible is the word of God and is the truth. These doctrines that do not follow the Bible are all false.
Accordingly, the Sabbath for the Church of God is Saturday, not Sunday. According to the "Saints" of the Church, Noel is actually the birthday of the Sun God and has been changed to the birthday of Jesus, that is, Christmas...
“If you don’t like to go out on Christmas, it means you are less tempted by the devil. Many Vietnamese people don’t go to church, but everyone likes to talk about Christmas. It’s a trick of the devil, Satan. We are always tempted, blindly following it without knowing its true nature.
“Christmas was not established by God nor is it based on the Bible,” said Ms. Thai, one of the three people who regularly preached the Bible to me, to “steer” me to believe that what I was seeing in reality was just a lie and that there was a devilish force behind the temptation.
And so, in each lesson, I was revealed another “hidden” thing. They presented a mystical world, a dreamlike place where only those who become children of God can rest forever, not have to worry about finding food, and are free to eat the fruits of the garden. That place is the Kingdom of Heaven.
They claim that the Bible is a scientific book, but they point out things that are spiritual and mystical, which many people think only exist in movies. They say that we are angels in Heaven, citizens of Heaven.
“To escape the disaster, we must participate in Passover, which means receiving God's seal,” Hien affirmed.
According to revelations from people in this organization, other solemn feasts of the Church are only held once a year, but Passover is held twice a year so that those who are not able to attend the first time can attend the second time and receive eternal life. The first time is on January 14, the second time is on February 14 every year and is calculated according to the Holy calendar, not the calendar we are using.
However, during the entire time of listening to the Bible teachings, the “preachers” only talked about Passover, the seventh day of Sabbath rest, but never mentioned the mandatory condition to participate in Passover, which is to observe Baptism. It was not until the 10th lesson, which was also the day very close to the second Passover, that this ritual was mentioned.
“The only way to be protected from the plague is to keep the Passover. But before this is observed, there is another method, which is a prerequisite for you to be able to celebrate the Passover, and that is Baptism, to be born anew in your soul and to be written in the Book of Life.
We ourselves are sinners, very dirty in both body and soul. Baptism is a ritual that makes the soul pure, we ourselves wash away all sins from the past to the present. When the body is clean, we can participate in the same body with Jesus," Sister Thuong explained.
According to the Church, the Book of Life is like a household registration book in Heaven. Whoever's name is written in the Book of Life goes to Heaven, whoever's name is not written in it is thrown into the Lake of Fire.
They compare Baptism to an emergency room. Baptism is an emergency, a spiritual emergency, and we need emergency treatment as soon as possible, without delay, without prolonging the time to receive salvation.
“Today, many other churches and congregations believe that baptism can only be done after 6 months or a year of studying the Bible, but the Church of God believes that baptism must be done immediately, without delay for even a second or a minute. That shows how important this ritual is,” Ms. Thuong affirmed.
These are the threats that make many people, especially students who are just starting to get used to the lecture hall, whose minds are still like blank sheets of paper, become afraid of their future, so they follow and lose their future and career.
As for me, after the 10th Bible study session, they told me I was almost there, 90% of the way there, and about to stand at the threshold of Heaven.
Although during those lessons, I felt like I was lost in a matrix with many concepts, examples and even a system of characters mentioned, but for them, among the 8 billion people in the world, not everyone received salvation because God said, the path to Heaven is a narrow gate and the narrow gate is difficult to pass through.
The fact that I sit and listen to the truth and believe in God's words because He chose and arranged for me to come to this moment, this time is neither too early nor too late. "Everything that happens is not by chance but is scripted. We are actors who need to act like that," Ms. Thuong explained.
They asked me if I wanted to attend the Baptism ceremony yet. When I said “I really want to”, everyone happily congratulated me and said to each other: “Sister Thom, she wants to be baptized now”.
