With the development of technology and social networks, heretical organizations such as "God the Mother", "Salvation Grace", "Eastern Lightning", "Aunt Do", "Je sua" ... have penetrated the northern mountainous provinces and caused many consequences to the security and order situation in the area. Among these, "Aunt Do" stands out, distorting the Bible, propagating, and enticing people to participate in illegal activities.
Police propagate the law and advise people to stay away from evil cults in Co Puc village (Hua Thanh commune, Dien Bien district, Dien Bien).
Talking about the origin of "Aunt Do", Captain Giang A De, Deputy Captain of the Religious Security Team, Department of Internal Security (PA02) of Dien Bien Provincial Police, said that this person's real name is Vu Thi Do (47 years old), currently residing in the US. This woman claims to have given birth to 4 children, of which her youngest child is Chua.
She also used YouTube to promote her claim that in her dream, she went to heaven, met 12 angels, and was given the mission to deliver news to the world. She also promoted that her son was God, and would therefore rule the world for 1,000 years.

"The dreams and stories of the aunt are fabrications, illusions, and not true to the nature of the Bible. The aunt fabricated them to lure others into joining her cult," said Captain De.
According to Captain De, this cult group takes advantage of the psychology of ethnic minorities and their difficult circumstances to sponsor money and material benefits to attract people, thereby attracting many people, especially the Mong ethnic group.

After attracting members, this heretical group creates online meeting rooms to communicate with each other, or sets up closed groups on the Facebook application to spread deviant culture.
According to Dien Bien Provincial Police, having grasped the situation early and from afar, in 2017, as soon as this cult first entered the country, Dien Bien Provincial Police reviewed, propagandized, and mobilized people to eliminate it.
More than 300 meetings with more than 26,000 people were organized by Dien Bien Provincial Police in coordination with relevant parties to propagate the superstitious and reactionary nature of evil cults and to encourage people not to believe in them. In addition, 100% of households following the "Ba Co Do" evil cult were able to participate in dialogue, express their thoughts and aspirations, and listen to the police explain and encourage them to abandon it.
Lieutenant Colonel Giang A Minh, Deputy Head of Department PA02, Dien Bien Provincial Police
Dien Bien Provincial Police also warned 247 ringleaders, handled 2 subjects for propagating false information and seized 17 copies of the "Ba Co Do" heretical propaganda documents compiled and printed by the subjects themselves, along with many related documents.
With this effort, 864 households following "Ba Co Do" were enlightened, and the "Ba Co Do" cult was completely eliminated in the area.
Lieutenant Colonel Giang A Minh, Deputy Head of Department PA02 of Dien Bien Provincial Police, said that most of the people who were drawn to follow the evil religion were ethnic minorities with limited knowledge and could not distinguish between the orthodox Bible and the distorted Bible. Therefore, the initial propaganda and mobilization encountered many difficulties.
Police asked people in Huoi Lech commune (Muong Nhe district, Dien Bien) to sign a commitment not to participate in cults.
After many years of directly going to the villages, "slow and steady wins the race", the authorities have helped people understand which is the orthodox Bible and which is the distorted and reactionary Bible, so that they can stay away from it so that they can feel secure in production, business, and economic development.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Minh, up to now, most households have become aware, committed to abandoning heresy and evil religions, staying away from "Ba Co Do" and have returned to practicing orthodox religions recognized by the state.
