Aqua Warriors Ha Long Bay is one of the first grassroots Aquathlon tournaments held in Vietnam. This year, the tournament attracted 1,500 athletes. This year, Aqua Warriors Ha Long Bay expanded into an international event with the participation of 30 foreign athletes.
In the meeting on the afternoon of March 28, representatives of Bolt Events - the tournament organizer - and relevant agencies agreed on a plan to host Aqua Warriors Ha Long Bay.
According to the organizers, the biggest goal of the tournament is to respond to the campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho" and the movement "Healthy to build a career and defend the country".
The tournament organizers worked with departments, branches and sectors of Quang Ninh province.
In addition, the organizers hope that the tournament will become an annual activity in Ha Long city, contributing to stimulating tourism and introducing Ha Long landscape to domestic and international friends.
Aqua Warriors Ha Long Bay has 5 distances, including Aqua Warriors (Swim 3km - Run 15km, athletes over 18 years old), Olympic Aqua Warriors (Swim 1.5km - Run 10km, athletes over 16 years old), Sprint Aqua Warriors (Swim 0.75km - Run 5km, athletes over 12 years old), Junior Aqua Warriors (Swim 0.3km - Run 2km, athletes from 9-11 years old), Kids Aqua Warriors (Swim 0.15km - Run 1km, athletes under 9 years old).
The Aqua Warriors Ha Long Bay Organizing Committee aims to organize the tournament in a thoughtful, safe, economical, effective manner, ensuring political security, social order and safety and environmental protection.
At the meeting, the organizing committee representative outlined a detailed plan to ensure professionalism and safety on the sea swimming track and running track for athletes.
Many warriors practice the last Brick exercises to prepare for Aqua Warriors Halong Bay on April 14.
The Organizing Committee closely coordinates with departments, agencies and branches to ensure the tournament runs smoothly, bringing good effects to the community, leaving a good image for both the tournament and the venue.
Aqua Warriors Ha Long Bay is organized entirely in the form of socialization, in accordance with the policy of Ha Long city, in the spirit of Decree No. 69/2008ND-CP of the Prime Minister on policies to encourage socialization in the fields of education, vocational training, health, culture, sports and environment.
The tournament will take place from April 13 to 14 in Ha Long City (Quang Ninh). On the first day, the organizers will register and distribute running bags to athletes. On the second day, the official competition will be held in 5 distances.
