(NLDO) - Unique symbols in Ca Mau and Bac Lieu not only create differences in tourism products but also become ideal "check-in" spots.
On November 2, the leader of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ca Mau province said that the construction of the Ca Mau shrimp symbol aims to express the aspiration to bring the main product of the province in particular and Vietnam in general to the world. This symbol not only creates a difference in tourism products but is also a work of art with the cultural characteristics of the Mekong Delta region.
Ca Mau shrimp symbol is expected to be built at Phan Ngoc Hien Square
The shrimp symbol project was invested in and built during the previous Ca Mau Shrimp Festival.
"When completed, the Ca Mau shrimp symbol will become a highlight in tourism development, attracting domestic and foreign tourists. In Dat Mui, the crab symbol that was invested in and built earlier has become an ideal "check-in" location, not to be missed by many tourists when coming to the southernmost region of the country. At the same time, this is also a message of honor for local shrimp and crab farmers" - Mr. Tran Hieu Hung, Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism of Ca Mau province, affirmed.
The crab symbol at Dat Mui has become an ideal "check-in" location for many tourists when coming to Ca Mau.
Previously, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province approved the addition of the project of the Ca Mau shrimp symbol and upgrading Le Duan street to the Phan Ngoc Hien Square Construction Investment Project (Ca Mau city), with a total capital of more than 236 billion VND.
The Ca Mau shrimp symbol is made of reinforced concrete, ceramic cladding, built right at the existing "Ca Mau shrimp symbol" location (this project serves the Ca Mau shrimp festival) with an estimated total investment of more than 20 billion VND.

Coming to Bac Lieu, many tourists were surprised to see the stylized Dan Kim model placed at Hung Vuong Square, Ward 1, Bac Lieu City. With its unique images and architecture, the Dan Kim symbol has become the "heart" of Bac Lieu center.
This work was recognized by the Vietnam Record Organization as the largest stylized zither in Vietnam in 2014.
The image of the zither affirms that Bac Lieu is one of the cradles of the art of Southern amateur music. At the same time, this work is to commemorate the late musician Cao Van Lau, who composed the immortal piece "Da co hoai lang".
