According to Mr. Bolat Duisenov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Coteccons, workers are an important workforce in ensuring the implementation and progress of construction projects.
"As a leading construction company, we are in contact with 15,000-20,000 workers working in this field. Coteccons understands the difficulties that workers are facing. Every day, we witness the danger and hardship in harsh weather conditions of the frontline workforce working on construction projects.
As Tet is approaching, every worker bears heavy economic responsibilities for their families, they deserve to receive gratitude and appreciation from society," Mr. Bolat Duisenov emphasized.
Coordinate to take care of Tet for disadvantaged workers
According to the General Statistics Office, the number of people working in the industrial and construction sector is 17.2 million. The average income of workers in the industrial and construction sector nationwide is about 7.9 million VND/month in the third quarter of 2023.
At Coteccons & Unicons alone, the average income of a worker is at least 12 million VND/month. However, this income is still not commensurate with the effort that construction workers put in. On average, each worker works 8-12 hours/day and 6-7 days/week. Construction workers and sanitation workers are also the groups that receive the least attention in society.
