Vo Hoang Yen completes marriage registration procedures in the US

Sharing with VTC News , Vo Hoang Yen confirmed that she completed the marriage registration procedures with her boyfriend at City Hall, Orange County, USA on the morning of March 9 (Vietnam time).

The supermodel happily expressed that she had been "late" about getting married many times, so after completing the procedures, she wanted to share it with the audience right away instead of waiting for wedding photos like other couples.

She revealed that the wedding will be held in the US and Vietnam, the specific time will be announced later because the two are planning in detail.

"Having learned from many experiences of saying things before they happen, this time I don't dare to share in advance about my wedding plans," said Vo Hoang Yen.

The model said that getting married was the "best deal" of the past 35 years.

3 months ago, on December 6, 2023, Vo Hoang Yen announced that she proposed to her boyfriend during a trip to Thailand.

The model born in 1988 said that when a woman finds someone who makes her feel safe, she should "boldly bring him home to be her husband"; and her boyfriend accepting her proposal was the "best thing that has happened to her in the past 35 years".

The love story of supermodel Vo Hoang Yen and her Vietnamese-American boyfriend was made public in 2018, but their marriage plans were repeatedly postponed due to many incidents. Therefore, the beauty later kept the information related to the wedding a secret until it was completed.

Vo Hoang Yen's husband is 12 years older than her, works in the food business, and lives in the US. She has always kept her husband's image and identity a secret and promised to make it public after the two get married in Vietnam.

The supermodel proactively proposed to her boyfriend in June 2023.

Talking about her other half, Vo Hoang Yen revealed that 5 years ago, her mother tried to stop her daughter's relationship because she saw that he had many tattoos and thought he was a "bad boy".

"At that time, I couldn't blame my mother because she hadn't met him yet and didn't know his personality. She only looked at him from the outside and judged him that way. Even though she tried to stop me, I argued with her to go to America. I believed in my intuition and wanted to give myself a chance. And my decision was right," the supermodel shared.

Vo Hoang Yen was born in 1988 in Ho Chi Minh City, won the gold prize of Vietnam Supermodel 2008, 1st runner-up of Miss Universe Vietnam 2009, and represented Vietnam in Miss Universe 2009.
