On April 12, a delegation of officers and soldiers and those who directly participated in the Great Spring Victory of 1975 of Dong Nai - Binh Duong province visited Ho Chi Minh City to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification. They continued to visit and experience Metro Line 1 (Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien). This is one of the 50 typical works of the city to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification, marking an important milestone in the development of public transport in the city.

Witnessing and experiencing a typical modern traffic project, marking the development and change of Ho Chi Minh City, the members of the delegation were very excited and moved.
Next, the delegation visited the weapons storage facility of the special forces that attacked the Independence Palace at 287/70 Nguyen Dinh Chieu, Ward 5, District 3. This was once the place where the Saigon Special Forces hid more than 2 tons of weapons to attack the Independence Palace during the Tet Offensive in 1968.
The house was bought by Mr. Tran Van Lai (alias Nam Lai, Hero of the People's Armed Forces) in 1966 and used as a place to hide weapons of the Saigon Special Forces. When entering the house, even officers and soldiers who had participated in the war were still surprised and admired.
