The festival of the Lady of the Land at the Go Thap National Special Monument, Thap Muoi District, Dong Thap Province takes place from the 14th to the 16th of the third lunar month every year, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors. During the holidays, people are served free meals.

Mr. Le Dinh Lang - Director of the Go Thap Relic Site Management Board - said that on the first opening day of the festival alone, there were over 150,000 visitors.

"Within the framework of the festival, there will be activities such as: Exhibition of photos of communal houses and ancient houses in Dong Thap; art photos on "Building Dong Thap people with affection, dynamism, creativity and documents of 30 years of Dong Thap Muoi offensive;

Displaying historical, cultural and religious documents about Go Thap and the Via Ba Chua Xu festival; organizing a rural market with 86 stalls of traditional cakes and local specialties.

The festival will serve free drinks, rice, porridge, and free banh xeo made by local people. As for banh xeo alone, it is expected that about 60,000 servings will be prepared to serve the people," said Mr. Lang.
