At VMware Explore 2023, VMware, Inc. (NYSE: VMW) introduced new Private AI offerings to help businesses leverage generative AI and unlock the value of trusted data.

VMware Introduces Private AI

Private AI is an architectural approach that harnesses the business benefits of AI while meeting an organization's practical privacy and compliance needs.

To make Private AI a reality for businesses and accelerate the next wave of AI-enabled applications, VMware launched: VMware Private AI Foundation with NVIDIA, expanding the company’s strategic partnership with businesses ready to run VMware cloud infrastructure for the next era of generative AI.

The VMware Private AI Reference Architecture for Open Source platform helps customers achieve the desired results when applying AI, by supporting the best open source software (OSS) technologies today and in the future.

“VMware is introducing new VMware Private AI services to realize a future where AI serves every member of the enterprise by bringing the choice of computing models and AI technologies closer to the data,” said Chris Wolf, vice president of VMware AI Labs. “Our Private AI approach benefits a wide range of enterprise use cases, from software development and marketing content creation to customer service tasks and deriving insights from legal documents.”
