VinFast is about to build a 3,500 billion VND project on Cai Trap Island, Hai Phong

(Dan Tri) - The Cai Trap Island entertainment area, park and resort project invested by VinFast Production and Trading Joint Stock Company has a scale of 3,500 billion VND, expected to be implemented from the first quarter of 2025.

The Cai Trap Island Amusement Park, Park and Resort Investment Project is invested by VinFast Production and Trading Company Limited (now VinFast Production and Trading Joint Stock Company) according to the Investment Policy Approval Decision No. 3029 dated September 16, 2019 of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board.

According to the environmental impact assessment report, at the end of November, the Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board approved local adjustments to the detailed 1/500 planning of the Cai Trap Island entertainment area, park and resort in Dong Bai and Nghia Lo communes, Cat Hai district (Hai Phong city).

The total area of ​​the Cai Trap project is 316ha, of which the adjusted planning area is 139ha (located in the west of the island). In nature, this is a functional area in the Dinh Vu - Cat Hai economic zone, invested in and built for entertainment, culture, tourism and resort business.

In terms of current status, this project has about 263.4 hectares of vacant land; 34.6 hectares of water surface for aquaculture; 16.5 hectares of embankment land surrounding the island and 1.5 hectares of mangrove forest land. The project area has no construction works or houses.

In the land use structure of the entire project, the land for building the resort is arranged over 66.6 hectares; land for green parks 111.4 hectares; land for traffic 28 hectares; land for building comprehensive service works combined with green trees, landscape water surface 97.5 hectares; the rest is isolated green trees, tourist wharf area, water surface and technical infrastructure.

The entire project will build 308 resort products, including 306 units with 2 floors and 2 units with 12 floors, with a construction density of 10-25%. The mixed service land has 16 projects with 2-5 floors, with a construction density of 10-40%...

The project will be implemented in 2 years (from the first quarter of 2025 to the fourth quarter of 2026), with an operating period of 50 years. The total investment of the project is 3,500 billion VND. The investor calculates that this complex, after completion, will serve 2,750 guests and 7,000 visitors per day.
