Vietnam Airlines added that the shortage of aircraft due to the engine recall from manufacturer Pratt & Whitney on Airbus A321NEO aircraft is expected to put pressure on the supply capacity during the 2025 Lunar New Year. Vietnam Airlines is actively working with authorities to increase flights, consider leasing more aircraft, as well as speed up the receipt and delivery of new aircraft such as Boeing 787-10, Airbus A320 to Vietnam at the end of the year to maximize transportation capacity and provide more seats for passengers.
