On the afternoon of June 28, in Hanoi, Investment Newspaper in collaboration with Vietnam Business Research Joint Stock Company (Viet Research) organized the Announcement and Honoring Ceremony of Top 50 Innovative and Effective Enterprises 2023 (VIE50); Top 10 Innovative and Effective Enterprises 2023 in key economic sectors (VIE10).

2023 is the first year that the VIE50 and VIE10 lists are published by Dau Tu Newspaper based on research results by Viet Research. The honored enterprises are those that apply creativity, innovation and reform in their operations, contributing to improving production and business efficiency, establishing a position in the market and contributing to the overall development of the country.
Regarding the list of Top 10 creative and effective banks, the Organizing Committee said that these are banks with stable business performance in the past, good growth potential in the future and have promoted and applied achievements, innovation and reform in their operations.
The list is selected based on quantitative and qualitative criteria including: assessment of business efficiency and added value of banks due to innovation, creativity and reform; assessment of corporate culture as well as innovation strategies of banks.
Research results from the VIE10 program with banks show that banks are changing their processes and work organization to create appropriate, flexible and fast standards in customer service.
Mr. Andrea Coppola - Chief Economist of the World Bank in Vietnam spoke on the topic of productivity growth and innovation for Vietnam to achieve the 2045 goals.
During the announcement ceremony, domestic and international experts shared about the importance of innovation for development potential and shaping the future generation of businesses.
World Bank Chief Economist for Vietnam, Mr. Andrea Coppola, mentioned the importance of productivity growth and innovation towards achieving Vietnam's goal of becoming a high-income country by 2045. Associate Professor Dr. Vu Minh Khuong, Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore, shared the key factors to help Vietnamese enterprises accelerate development through innovation.
Mr. Le Hoang Tung - Chief Accountant of Vietcombank shared about Vietcombank's innovation activities.
Dr. Vo Tri Thanh, Director of the Institute for Brand Strategy and Competitiveness Research, mentioned the innovation environment for the Vietnamese business community and the difficulties and challenges that need to be overcome.
Representing businesses in the VIE50 and VIE10 lists, Mr. Le Hoang Tung - Chief Accountant of Vietcombank gave a speech sharing about innovation from a business perspective and practical stories about adaptation as an important factor that has a vital impact on businesses.
