“Delivery to the destination is carried out by three modes of transport - road, rail and sea - accompanied by a veterinary certificate agreed with the importing country,” the official announcement reads.

Since the beginning of this year, 192.8 tons of pork from Tomsk Oblast have been exported to Vietnam. In the whole of 2023, the Oblast exported 77 tons of meat to Vietnam, while in 2022, Vietnam did not import pork from Tomsk Oblast.

Meanwhile, the Belarusian Ministry of Agriculture and Food said on July 29 that the country's businesses will conduct inspections to export beef to Vietnam.

It is known that representatives of the Department of Animal Health, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam are visiting Belarus to conduct veterinary inspection of beef production from July 29 to August 2.

Vietnamese experts will visit a number of enterprises in Minsk, Brest and Grodno provinces to learn about the production process and evaluate the quality control system and product safety.

The delegation is also expected to visit breeding facilities for large-horned cattle and the Belarusian National Veterinary Center, which conducts veterinary supervision to control the safety of products of animal origin. The above inspection is necessary for the Vietnamese side to approve the export of Belarusian beef to the Vietnamese market.
