With the theme: "Application of practical technology to strengthen internal strength and create breakthroughs for Vietnamese enterprises", IIBH Forum 2024 attracted 300 delegates representing enterprises, experts, speakers... to attend. Speaking at the opening of the forum, Minister of Science and Technology Huynh Thanh Dat emphasized that the application, transfer of technology and innovation play an important role in improving productivity, quality and competitiveness of enterprises, especially in the context of international integration with a series of new-generation FTAs that have been signed and the impact of the 4.0 industrial revolution is having an increasingly profound impact. Technological level and capacity are key factors for enterprises to create products and services with competitive or superior characteristics, meeting the increasing demands of the market. According to the Minister of Science and Technology, strategic competition and trade tensions between major economies in recent times have led to an increase in protectionist measures, fierce competition in technology, along with the requirements of sustainable development goals, which are practical issues facing businesses. This is an issue that creates great pressure forcing businesses to implement fundamental and drastic solutions to overcome the core challenges of technology absorption, technology innovation, and gradually move towards technological autonomy in the direction of green and sustainable technology. |

Comrade Huynh Thanh Dat suggested that the Association of High-Quality Vietnamese Goods Enterprises coordinate with the Ministry of Science and Technology in building and developing a connection network, helping businesses and individuals seek investment cooperation opportunities with international partners; expanding business networks and creating new development opportunities; accessing new technological achievements and trends. Thereby, supporting Vietnamese businesses to actively apply technology, improve technology, boldly invest in technological innovation towards green, clean, circular production, efficient and economical use of energy, and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. The IIBF Forum is a forum to discuss in-depth business issues through the application of new technologies. The trend of applying technology in all fields and in business is a major trend taking place globally. At IIBF 2024, experts and businesses will dissect, analyze, and propose solutions to support businesses in increasing their internal strength to achieve breakthroughs in business and compete in the marketplace. |
