Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee periodically receives citizens in November 2024

Today, November 25, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam chaired the regular citizen reception session in November 2024 under the authorization of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. Attending the citizen reception session were leaders of departments, branches, and sectors; leaders of districts, towns, and cities where citizens came to reflect and make recommendations.

At the meeting, 18 citizens reflected and made recommendations related to 15 cases. The content of the recommendations was mainly related to land such as: recommendations on granting land use right certificates, slow implementation of land inspection conclusions, settlement of land disputes, compensation, support for site clearance; recommendations on low quality of land in resettlement areas, leading to subsidence of housing construction... In addition, there was a recommendation on resolving policies for people with revolutionary contributions.

Among the recommendations, there are many first-time recommendations, some recommendations are still under the processing period of the competent authorities, and some recommendations have not been implemented by local authorities according to the direction of superiors.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam acknowledged the citizens' petitions and requested relevant agencies and local authorities to report in detail the process of receiving and resolving petitions.

At the same time, assign competent agencies and local authorities to receive and handle initial petitions according to their authority; continue to review and inspect the current status, and handle petitions that are being resolved in accordance with the law and within the time limit; speed up the progress of resolving petitions according to the direction of the Provincial People's Committee.

For cases not under the jurisdiction of state administrative agencies, the Provincial Citizen Reception Committee is requested to guide citizens to contact competent authorities so that citizens' legitimate rights and interests are protected by law.
